Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker returns to BAM this October as part of the 2008 Next Wave Festival with a Steve Reich Evening. The program features selections from De Keersmaeker’s long and celebrated relationship with Reich’s compositions, as well as two new dance works. I first saw De Keersmaeker at BAM in 2003 with the liquid and sensual Rain, set to Reich’s Music for 18 musicians.
